Tadzio

Overstimulated by flamboyant props and distracted by extravagant queens pacing up and down the rooms and corridors, one easily forgets the 18th-century country house serving as the backdrop in Tadzio. Yet this imposing bourgeois mansion was the starting point of it all, as well as the only constraint the directing duo of the short film had to consider. An eminent Dutch cultural critic, Els Hoek, challenged several artists to feature this particular place in an audiovisual artwork. She provided them with a generous budget and left them to do the rest. Three films emerged from her idea – Tadzio among them.

Drinking Time

Borreltijd was a mockumentary by Arjan Ederveen, Tosca Niterink and Pieter Kramer (director) from 1996 and was shown late on Sunday evening at the VPRO on Nederland 3. Weekly, a Dutch celebrity is interviewed.

Creative with Cork

Kreatief met Kurk was a satirical mockumentary by Arjan Ederveen, Tosca Niterink and Pieter Kramer (director), which was broadcast by the VPRO from January to March 1993 (lessons 1 to 13) and from January to June 1994 (lessons 14 to 26).

Theo en Thea en de ontmaskering van het tenenkaasimperium

Theo and Thea want to make a movie of Snow White, but Gerard Joling, who should play prince, cries off. Someone suggests to ask opera singer Marco Bakker. First he doesn't want to, but when Theo and Thea dress up like jazz singers Bea and Ans, he decides to join in. Marco even falls in love with the dressed-up Theo. Written by Clausule
