Five peculiar monsters from a distant galaxy crash land on Earth. Quickly, realizing that if discovered by the government they will end up as laboratory experiments, they hide in the attic of an empty house. But the house is for rent! Our alien friends have a hard and hilarious time getting rid of each new tenant, as they discover that this world of "strange earthlings" is even more bizarre than the world they left behind.

The king is walking around, the queen is giving birth. To her great despair, however, she does not give birth to a valiant warrior, but to a frail little girl with a pale complexion. Being very pale and her mother being Persian, the child will be called Snow White. Having lost his wife during childbirth without having obtained the hoped-for son, the king decides to chase away the child, the maid and the constable. To top it all off, a wicked fairy decides to cast a spell on the young Snow White: she will be "sexually obsessed".

Leonie Koutcharev, a top civil servant at the Ministry of Interior, proposes an ideal solution to the problem of overpopulated prisons: put model prisoners in the homes of carefully screened families. Jules and Norma Klarh, a childless couple, expect to receive an inoffensive juvenile delinquent but end up with the psychopath Marcus Steckner in their suburban home. The film centers on social criticism of the gap between reality and the bureaucratic assumptions of what reality should be.

Loïc Le Tallec never really took care of his son. When the latter disappears in a road accident, Loïc is devastated. He has only one idea in mind: to find the one who lives now with the heart of his son. He falls on Hugo, a young man that this brand new heart makes totally unreasonable and uncontrollable. Until the day in 1978 when he was accused by a weekly newspaper of being the main organizer of the Vel'd'Hiv' roundup, everyone seemed to have forgotten that in 1942, René Bousquet was head of the French police. But then the past caught up with this former high-ranking civil servant, brilliantly reconverted into high finance. The next fifteen years will be devoted to answering the accusations. To organize his defense, he knows he can count on the support of his family and a network of political contacts. Gradually, the ambiguity of the compromises and "arrangements" made by almost all the political forces at the Liberation, in the name of national reconciliation, becomes apparent.
